Minor Atom A's Win Blue And Gold

(November 29, 2011)

The Minor Atom A's participated in the Bradford Blue and Gold tournament this past weekend. After going undefeated in round robin play the Bulldogs headed to the final in a rematch against a tough team from Essex. In a close back and forth battle Bradford managed to take the lead with 5 minutes left on a highlight reel goal from Carson Cameron. The team, despite being down to a 6 on 3 for last 30 seconds, hung on for a 2-1 win and the gold medal.

Congratulations to the entire team for a great weekend!

Minor Peewee A Win Blue And Gold Again

The Minor Peewee "A" team entered the Bradford Blue and Gold tournament at the Nottawasaga Resort this past weekend and came home champions. The team had a great weekend taking gold against a number of top ranked teams. Great job Bulldogs!!!

New Hockey Canada Co-ed Dressing Room Policy

Hockey Canada firmly beleives in accommodating both genders equially. To ensure equality for all, a new co-ed dressing room policy has been created. Effective immediately, BWGMHA will be adopting this new policy. The specific details of this newpolicy can be found here.

Marlies Day - Ice and Box Available to Highest Bidder!

There is a 4pm ice slot for a team to bid on if they wish to play a game at Ricoh Center - or just a team party , whatever....

Also - there is the private suite that holds up to 30 people ....

People could send their bids to Bayne Smith and copy Nancy as well in order to be double checked - run the bidding from Monday Nov 7th through to Friday Nov 18th?

Novice "A" Team in Lake Placid

(November 6, 2011)

The Novice A Bulldogs travelled to Lake Placid New York for the CAN/AM Cup. While at the tournament, the team met with the Canadaian bobsled team. To help support the Bulldogs, the Bobsled team even came out to the rink to cheer on the team. GO Canada GO!!!
